Emile Habiby

One of the most prominent modern Palestinian and Arab writers, Emile Habiby was awarded the highest Palestinian literary honor, the "Prize of Jerusalem" in Cairo 1990, and in 1992 he Won Israelā€˜s highest award of literature, the "Israel Prize". Born to an Arab Christian family in Haifa in 1922, he was a Kenesset member for the communist party for nineteen years, He lives in Nazareth and takes an independent political position, co-chairing an Israeli and Palestinian committee of writers against the occupation and for peace and the freedom to create. This story comes for the Six-Days War Sextat(1968).
