A writer of short stories, of Indian origin, the author works in the Bat Shalom center for women and peace in Jerusalem. She and Yonit Mansour-shahar run the project "Eastern Women and Peace," with popular Eastern music. The present story was presented by the interaction with women from the (deliberately misnamed) slums.
