Valeska Heldt is a German lawyer by training, currently working as a Political Officer at the Candid Foundation. She previously was based in Beirut, Lebanon, working on rule of law issues in the MENA region. She holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University (2018). Her expertise relates to the fields of international criminal, humanitarian and human rights law.
