Faris G.N. Said is a Ph.D. candidate at Friedrich Schiller University – Jena Center for Reconciliation Studies (JCRS). Born in Jenin, he holds an MA from the Department of Conflict Resolution and Development at the Arab American University – Palestine. He also studied environmental studies at Bennington College. He has obtained other academic and non-academic certifications: English Language BA degree, communicating for negotiation (awarded by USIP), and leadership development (awarded by PBS). His fields of interest are peacebuilding, conflict transformation, history, and environment.
