Dr. Meir Margalit is an associate at the Van Leer Institute, a lecturer at Ono Academic College, and one of the directors of the Center for Advancement of Peace Initiatives. He is a former Meretz member of the Jerusalem City Council in charge of the East Jerusalem file and author of The City of Jerusalem.
